The monograph attempts to explore – with a certain amount of whimsy and giddiness – the effects of the newest technological revolution on the world of work.

Artificial intelligence and algorithms have already penetrated deeply into the tissue of standard employment relationships and heavily influenced execution of work through the digital platforms, so we can try to sense future modifications awaiting around the bent.

Although based primarily on the Slovak and Italian legal regulation and jurisprudence, the authors do not shy away from the universal philosophical and sociological implications for the very existence of the labour law as the independent legal branch.
